Tonight's Playoff Match-ups

Via: thestar.com

New York Islanders @ Pittsburgh Penguins (7:00pm ET)
TV: TSN, NBCSN, MSG, Plus, Root
Series: 2-2
The big story in this one is that Penguins coach Dan Bylsma has announced that backup Tomas Vokoun will replace Marc-Andre Fleury in net for the Penguins tonight after Fleury allowed six goals in game four. So far this series Fleury has a 3.40 goals against average and a .891 save percentage. It won't be a step back for the Pens though, as Vokoun was excellent against the Islanders during the regular season. The Penguins will need a good performance from him and the defense, because the offense has not been a problem. For the Islanders, just need to continue putting in the hard effort and perseverance that has gotten them to this point. Evgeni Nabokov will be starting opposite Fleury for the Islanders. Andrew MacDonald suffered an injury in the third period of game four and will be replaced tonight by Radek Martinek or Thomas Hickey.
Prediction: 4-2 Pens.

Ottawa Senators @ Montreal Canadiens (7:00pm ET)
TV: CBC, RDS, CNBC
Series: 3-1 Senators
The Canadiens will also be going with the backup goalie tonight, although it is more out of necessity than a tactic. Carey Price suffered an injury during the third period of game four and was replaced by Peter Budaj. It appears that Price will be out for at least the rest of the series, so the comeback will be on Budaj's shoulders. It'll be a tough test for the Habs, who need to contain the Senator's top guns Daniel Alfredsson and Erik Karlsson, who both have five points apiece. They'll also have to find a way to beat Craig Anderson, who has a sparkling .945 save percentage thus far in the series. Prediction: 3-1 Sens.

Minnesota Wild @ Chicago Blackhawks (9:30pm ET)
TV: CBC, NBCSN, FoxSports-N/WI, CSN-Chicago
Series: 3-1
Like the Senators, the Hawks will also be looking to close out their series in five games tonight in Chicago. The key for the Hawks so far has been timely scoring, great goaltending and blocking tons of shots, as evidenced by their 26 blocks in game four. The Wild have to find a way to break through on the power play, as Chicago has held them without a pp goal during the series (0 for 15). Minnesota will probably also need goalie Josh Harding to play the game of his life. Though he suffered a minor injury in game four, he'll get the start tonight and third stringer Darcy Kuemper will take backup duties. Prediction: 4-2 Hawks.

As the Canucks were eliminated on Tuesday by the Sharks, there will only be three games tonight. After tonight, two more teams (the Habs and Wild) may join them on the sidelines.
