Tonight's Playoff Match-up 06/06
Chicago Blackhawks @ Los Angeles Kings (9:00pm ET)
TV: CBC, RDS, NBCSN
Series: 2-1 Chicago
It seems like everything is working against the Hawks in this one tonight. LA is just deadly on home ice, with 15 straight home wins. When scoring first at home, the Kings have won 22 straight. Goalie Jonathan Quick has found his game again and put in a brilliant performance in game three. Young defenseman Slava Voynov has been on fire, scoring 4 of LA's 9 game winning goals. And Norris trophy winner Duncan Keith won't be in the Chicago lineup tonight, as he was suspended by the NHL yesterday. The good news for Chicago? It looks like the King's playoff leading scorer Mike Richards might not be in the lineup either. Forward Bryan Bickell has been great, scoring his second goal of the series in game three, pushing his post-season total to 7. Also goalie Corey Crawford has been greatexcellent, maintaining a sub two goals against average and giving the Hawks a chance to win every night. If they can to break through a tough Kings defense and get to Quick tonight, they still have the offense to pull out the win.
Prediction: 3-2 Hawks.
